Antonian College Preparatory High School is a Catholic, co-educational college preparatory high school under the auspices of the Archdiocese of San Antonio. It is located on the near north side of San Antonio in the suburban community of Castle Hills. With approximately 725 enrolled students, it is the largest Catholic high school in the Archdiocese. The student
population mirrors the demographics of the city of San Antonio.

Job Title: Operational Development Coordinator
Job Summary: The Operational Development Coordinator supports the mission of the school by providing general assistance and support to the Director of Strategic Development and Alumni Relations relative to the day-to-day operations of the Development Office. The Operational Development Coordinator is committed to promoting an environment of collaboration, stewardship, and exceptional customer service to all stakeholders of the school.
Essential Functions:
- General
- Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
- Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Maintains good relationships and works cooperatively with many people, such as principals, pastors, clergy, archdiocesan officials, department heads, supervisors, fellow teachers, teacher aides, students, parents, secretaries, and custodians, in planning activities and policies relating to the school
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by the principal and/or other administrators
- Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the fundraising field by attending seminars, workshops, or professional meetings, or by conducting research
- Supports and adheres to the policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese of San Antonio, including the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees
Job Specific
- Works collaboratively with the Director of Strategic Development and Alumni Relations to establish overall goals and strategies for increasing non-tuition support of Antonian College Preparatory High School
- Plans, designs, develops, and implements programs and services that are determined appropriate to effectively provide for
- operational cash flow through such activities as fundraisers, the annual gala, an annual fund drive, etc.
- Regularly and frequently communicates with the parents and other stakeholders and constituents for support of the program
- Under the guidance of the Director of Strategic Development and Alumni Relations, develops and implements short-term operational development plans to meet established development goals and objectives including but not limited to the securing of gifts, donations to an annual fund campaign, corporate and foundation grants,enhancing special fundraising/cultivation events, and new approaches to supporting traditional advancement initiatives
- Works collaboratively with Communications staff to appropriately develop and integrate messaging for operational development in publications, grant submissions, reports, and other materials intended to cultivate donors
- Works collaboratively with parents and other key constituents to develop volunteer leadership in support of cultivation events
- Assists the Director of Strategic Development and Alumni Relations manage gift processing and donor acknowledgement, the donor database, and reporting related to gifts

Requirements
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively and courteously with ail stakeholders of Antonian.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate work.
- Skilled in critical thinking and strategic planning.
- Proficient software experience and skills including but not limited to use of basic productivity suites such as Microsoft Office or Google Apps as well as the ability to utilize software designed for donor and alumni tracking.
- Web design and maintenance skills is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and make prudent decisions as warranted in the absence of the Director of Strategic Development and Alumni Relations
- High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information
- Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed
Working Conditions:
- Required to work some nights and weekends
- Required to manage high to moderate levels of stress

Mental/Physical Demands:
- Required to lift or carry supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment
- Required to maintain composure and avoid inappropriate displays of anger

- Required to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading
- Required to monitor students jn a variety of locations including those with noise, activity, and inclement conditions
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Technology: Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and internet use
Experience: Experience in institutional fundraising preferred
