Job Overview
Palletizer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the machinery that stacks goods and products onto pallets in warehouses, factories, and other industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Operate palletizer machinery in line with company procedures
- Check the condition of the packaged product and pallets
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Identify and report any issues or faults with the machinery to the supervisor
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Assist in training new employees on palletizer operations
- Handle heavy loads with material handling equipment
- Ensure that products are packaged correctly and prepared for shipping
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on palletizer machinery
Experience
- Proven work experience as a Palletizer Operator or similar role
- Good understanding of safety and equipment procedures
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and materials
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Experience in a distribution center environment is advantageous.
