About the Role
We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and seasoned professional with a proven history of providing extraordinary service and quality in the role of Demand Planner. The Demand Planner will be tasked with analyzing historical order patterns, forecasting activities associated with customers and products. The Demand Planner is the integration point between sales, production and purchasing. The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources (i.e.: Nielsen or other syndicated consumer data). Demand Planner responsibilities include estimating future demand for Antonina’s products and analyzing inventory flow to build forecasting models. Ultimately, you will work with leaders within the organization to ensure we can continue to supply consumers based on future demand for our products.
Core Responsibilities:
- Create, develop and produce SKU-level operational forecasts for all of Antonina’s products with effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns. Paying special attention to seasonality, promotional buys, new customer acquisition and demand forecasts based on strategic category revenue and profitability goals.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Support leadership with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Evaluate improvements in forecasting techniques, methods and approach in order to increase the overall health of the program while balancing cash flow
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Modify and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for planning processes and systems
- Build and maintain customer profiles including reorder and cancel patterns, velocity, volumes and assortments.
- Build and develop a set of forecasting analysts that consistently meet or exceed expectations by developing and assuring compliance with standard operating procedures
- Partner in the development of inventory management metrics and supply chain initiatives that support overall company and brand objectives
- Support the delivery and maintenance of current reporting and analytics
- Maintain a constant relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, sourcing and manufacturing teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers.
- Manage Inventory levels in multiple warehouses.
- Follow and understand proper Good Hygiene, Safe Work Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) to aid in providing a safe quality product.
- Complete training related to food and personal safety as required.

- Strong project management and organizational skills in which attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects on time are essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to navigate organizations to build relationships and garner support; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills and situational adaptability; capable of clearly conveying Antonina’s Gluten-Free Bakery standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, exercise initiative, resourcefulness, and good judgement.
- Flexible and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in demand planning/forecasting role.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytics.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access & Outlook.
Preferred
- Previous experience with ERP/CRM systems
- Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job operates in both a professional office environment as well as a manufacturing plant with varying temperatures. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
- While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing in environments with varied temperatures. This position requires frequent pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- This role will support remote team members throughout the US, as well as locations in Sumner and Puyallup, WA and Manteca, CA.
