What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist - 2nd or 3rd Shift position at Antron Engineering?
Antron Engineering, located in Bellingham, MA, is looking to add a qualified CNC Machinist to our team! Qualified candidates should possess the ability to work in a fast-paced enviroment, work well with others, and take direction well.
This is a full-time position for 2nd or 3rd shift with opportunity for overtime.
Responsibilites :
- Operation of turning, milling and screw machines tools and running multiple machines when required.
- Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on the machine.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Evaluate tooling to improve product quality.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
- Follow all company safety protocols
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Reports to a supervisor / manager.
