Description
Partner with Team Leader(s) to make our customers successful by embracing AJA’s Vision. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will help design and develop foodservice equipment under the guide of the Mechanical Engineering Team lead. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will develop their own special project to build on and show skills learned during their time with the Antunes Engineering team.
What You'll Do:
- Design new products and improve previously commercialized products utilizing SolidWorks 3D & 2D CAD, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and DFMEA (Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis). Training will be provided.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline engineering teams to fulfill customer requirements and ensure project milestones are completed on time.
What You'll Bring:
- 3D CAD (SolidWorks Preferred)
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal, communication, planning, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work in multi-task environment and make sound business decisions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (Preferred)
Qualifications
Consideration:
- Pursuing BSME Junior or Senior Student
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; recent graduate (Preferred)
- Experience in Foodservice manufacturing Industry (Preferred)
