Cloud Architect

Location:              Primarily Remotely, but may periodically be required to work onsite in Sacramento, CA
Position Type:     Contract
Duration:              One (1) year, with option to extend

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. At least four (4) years of experience within the last seven (7) years in administrating cloud environments and applications.
2. At least four (4) years within the last seven (7) years with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and applications.
3. At least four (4) years of experience within the last seven (7) years with MuleSoft Anypoint Integration tools.
4. At least two (2) years of operation experience within the last five (5) years on a large scale* project on a computer system or a multi-server local area network, including initial production environment setup and ongoing maintenance.  *Large scale project means a project with 5,000 or more employees and involving four (4) major operational business areas and five distributed geographic work locations, or a multi-server local area network, including initial production environment setup and ongoing maintenance.
5. At least four (4) years of experience with the last seven (7) years in four (4) or more of the following technical areas:
   • Development of system architecture
   • Hardware and software specifications
   • Network design
   • Security analysis
   • MuleSoft
   • AWS Architecture
   • System administration set-up

Desirable Qualifications:

1. At least four (4) years of experience within the last seven (7) years working with Salesforce Public Sector Licensing, Permitting, & Inspections module.
2. At least four (4) years of experience within the last seven (7) years working with MuleSoft AnyPoint platform.
3. At least four (4) years of experience within the last seven (7) years working with ALM Octane or JIRA.
4. At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (1) in establishing Architecture Governance for applications hosted in Cloud Infrastructure, preferably Amazon Web Services.
5. At least four (4) years of experience within the last seven (7) years working with Splunk.
6. Demonstrated expertise in AWS Cloud with current and non-expired certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification Associate).  A copy of certification(s) is required to earn points.
7. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 or SCRUM Certified.  A copy of certification(s) is required to earn points.
