Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors alarms, cameras, and campus access
- Conducts patrols on foot and in vehicles
- Must be able to conduct patrol on foot and able to remain in one location or position for
extended periods of time
- Capable of maintaining order in stressful, dangerous situations
- Able to communicate clearly and able to respond to emergency personnel
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, additional postsecondary training in
security or law enforcement preferred
- TN Unarmed Guard Licence required
- Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
