Position: CT Technologist

Location: Omaha, NE

Position: Contract Onsite

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Fri, Sat & Sun)

Job Summary

The role is full-time with day shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), totaling 36 hours per week. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment to capture detailed cross-sectional images of patients' tissues and organs.
• Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort and safety during the scan.
• Adhere to proper radiation safety standards to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Evaluate the quality of images to ensure they meet diagnostic requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss image results and ensure proper patient care.
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department.
  
  

Qualifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• Nebraska State Licensure as a CT Technologist (or eligibility for licensure).
• AHA BLS
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
