Role: Interview Clerk

Location : 4 days a week at the Tallahassee location, 1 day a week at the Monticello location

Duration: 6 Months

Interview: Onsite Interview Only

Client Comment:

To be considered for this position and be eligible for an interview, your candidates must complete a typing test and score at least 35 words per minute. I have attached an instruction sheet with the directions on how to complete the typing test to the reference tab. You will need to select the THREE MINUTE TEST. You may practice as much as you like before turning in your results. When your candidate has completed the test, please attach the results along with the candidate resume and right to represent. Candidates without the completed typing test will not be considered for interview.

JOB DUTIES:

Answering phones, checking messages, returning calls, opening and disseminating mail, greeting and guiding visitors

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Explanation of eligibility of applicants and recipients for public assistance programs, determining eligibility for expedited food stamp services,
• Entering client data into database based on intake of caller information
• Maintaining necessary files and records
• Completing general clerical duties to include using computer to input data for clients who are applying for public assistance benefits, answering the phone, using photocopy machine, scanner and other office machines.
• Must type 35 wpm
• Must be able to work at the Tallahassee office and one day in the Monticello office
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have customer service experience
• Must have computer skills
