Unarmed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents and observations for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.

Requirements

• Valid security certificate or relevant training is preferred.
• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV operation.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Knowledge of loss prevention practices and procedures.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.19 per hour
