Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS OR AT LEAST ONE WEEKEND DAY!! !!!The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, maintaining effective communication during emergencies.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while managing conflicts professionally and effectively.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Experience in law enforcement or security-related fields is highly desirable.
- Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
- First Aid certification is preferred; CPR certification is a plus.
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Military experience or training can be an asset in this role.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential risks or issues.
