What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Manager position at Anyday Eatery?
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A FLOOR MANAGER AT ANYDAY
FRONT-OF-HOUSE OPERATIONS & GUEST EXPERIENCE
-Ensure smooth daily operations of the dining floor maintaining high service standards
-Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all guests handling any concerns or special requests efficiently
-Oversee reservations table assignments and waitlist management for optimal guest flow
TEAM LEADERSHIP & STAFF TRAINING
-Supervise train and motivate front-of-house staff ensuring exceptional customer service
-Lead by example maintaining a positive professional work environment
-Conduct team meetings address staff concerns and provide ongoing coaching
SERVICE QUALITY & EFFICIENCY
Ensure all servers hosts and support staff adhere to service protocols
-Monitor table turnover order accuracy and overall dining efficiency
- Assist in handling high-traffic periods and resolving any operational challenges

INVENTORY & COST CONTROL
-Oversee front-of-house supplies including beverages tableware and POS system management
-Monitor sales and service performance to identify areas for improvement
HEALTH & SAFETY COMPLIANCE
-Ensure the restaurant maintains the highest cleanliness and safety standards
- Adhere to all local health regulations and staff training requirements
COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager to align service with kitchen operations
- Address customer feedback improve service strategies and implement solutions to enhance guest satisfaction
KEY QUALIFICATIONS WE LOOK FOR
-Proven experience as a Floor Manager Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role in a fast-paced dining environment
- Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills
-Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure
-A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience
