Clinical Lab Technologist - Microbiology Lab

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join our team in the Microbiology Lab!

Position Details :

  • Shift : 9 AM - 5 : 30 PM (Day Shift), with alternate weekends
  • Location : Bronx, NY
  • Sign-On Bonus : $5,000

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine / emergency tests using lab instrumentation
  • Monitor specimen workflow, review test data prior to release
  • Report abnormal values, maintain quality control data
  • Keep detailed records, assist with reagent prep and inventory
  • Provide leadership for technicians, train new employees

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in a physical science (Medical Technology preferred)
  • New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or limited permit
  • Experience with lab and hospital information systems and various automated equipment

    Salary : $88,000-$110,000 DOE
