We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Technologist to join a dynamic Surgical Pathology lab just miles from Upper Manhattan!
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge laboratory environment with a focus on preparing pathological slides for diagnostic procedures.
The selected candidate will enjoy a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate tissue processors to create paraffin blocks for diagnosis.
- Embed and section pathology specimens using rotary microtomes.
- Perform routine and special staining (H&E, GMS, AFB, PAS) to identify tissues and organisms.
- Conduct enzyme histochemistry, including Leder esterase staining.
- Prepare solutions for histological processing.
- Assist with immunohistochemistry and handle pathology requests.
- File paraffin blocks and slides systematically.
