Key Responsibilities
✔ Clinical Duties:
- Take patient histories, vital signs, and document chief complaints
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Administer injections, immunizations, and TB skin tests per protocol
- Perform venipunctures and basic lab tests
✔ Operational Support:
- Maintain exam/procedure rooms and ensure adequate supplies
- Transcribe provider orders and schedule follow-up appointments
- Complete accurate documentation in electronic health records
✔ Administrative Tasks:
- File, scan, and prepare medical documents
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Requirements
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certificate from accredited MA program (AZ compliance: A.R.S. § 32-1456)
- Certifications:
- Current N95 fit testing
- Valid First Aid certification
- Experience: 1 year as MA/CHT (correctional experience preferred)
- Skills:
- Strong clinical and organizational abilities
- Comfort working in structured environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
