Position: Membership Experience Counselor (MXC) Location: Anytime Fitness Sidney Compensation: $12/hr base pay 5% commission on membership and training package sales bonus incentives based on performance
Job Overview:
The Membership Experience Counselor (MXC) is responsible for driving membership growth and maintaining exceptional customer service standards within the gym. This role requires proactive outreach, facility upkeep, and engagement with both current and prospective members to enhance their fitness journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Outreach:
- Make a minimum of 10 phone calls per hour to prospective and current members.
- One appointment during the day is worth 10 phone calls.
- Conduct in-person tours and consultations to promote memberships and training services.
- Engage with potential leads via phone, email, and in-person follow-ups.
- Must maintain a minimum close rate of 70% on new prospect to membership conversion (after 30 day probationary period).
- Customer Service & Member Engagement:
- Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all members.
- Address member concerns and provide guidance on membership options and fitness programs.
- Facility Upkeep & Operational Duties:
- Fulfill daily cleaning duties to ensure the gym maintains high cleanliness standards.
- Assist in maintaining equipment organization and general facility presentation.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any and all duties assigned by management staff.
- Support gym events, promotions, and community engagement activities.
Compensation & Incentives:
- Base Pay: $12/hr
- Commission: 5% commission on all membership and personal training sales
- Bonus Opportunities:
- Performance-based bonuses for exceeding membership sales goals.
- 10 new members per month: $75
- 20 new members per month: $150
- 30 new members per month: $300
- Bonus tiers stack, not replace (e.g. 30 new members in one month is a total of $525 in bonuses, not $300).
- Performance-based bonuses for exceeding personal training sales goals.
- 5 new personal training clients per month: $75
- 10 new personal training clients per month: $150
- 20 new personal training clients per month: $300
- Bonus tiers stack, not replace (e.g. 20 new PT clients in one month is a total of $525 in bonuses, not $300).
- Additional incentives for achieving "Fab 5" metrics (specific performance benchmarks related to gym growth and engagement).
- $50 per positive metric

- Sales experience is a plus but not required.
