Job Summary

Duties
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly those requiring special education services, ensuring they understand the material and stay engaged.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere by reinforcing appropriate conduct.
- Support students during various activities, including lessons, recess, and transitions between classes.
- Collaborate with educators to develop effective strategies for lesson planning and classroom management.
- Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and resources for lessons.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding individual student needs and achievements.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth among children.
Experience
- Previous experience in special education or early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with preschool or daycare settings is beneficial, especially in managing toddlers and young children.
- Experience in lesson planning and classroom management will be advantageous in this role.
- A genuine passion for educating children and supporting their developmental needs is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to create an inclusive educational environment.
