Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Litigation Attorney at Anzen Legal Group LLC. The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for a portion of the firm's conflict resolution and litigation work, including civil disputes, business partnership controversies, contested probate procedures, and other kinds of litigation and pre-litigation conflict resolution. Outstanding applicants will be experienced in business-matters civil litigation and/or probate litigation, or have relevant experience in other litigation matters such as family law, criminal defense, or tort claims.
Qualifications
- Admission to practice law in Colorado, or the ability to be admitted without delay or complications
- Experience in motions practice, trial preparation, discovery management, and actual trials before the various levels of courts in Colorado
- Experience working in a hybrid environment with freedom to prioritize your own work
- Direct, demonstrable experience in business dispute litigation, contract litigation, real estate litigation, or contested probate procedures (or a strong showing of equivalent skills)
Additional Considerations
- Admission to practice in Wyoming is a plus
- Familiarity with IP protections, such as trademarks, is an advantage
- Familiarity with construction litigation is desirable
- Admission to one or mote Federal court systems is a plus
- Experience in the court systems of Larimer County, Weld County, or Jefferson County is desirable
This role is a hybrid workplace role based in our Fort Collins, Colorado office. In-office work at our Loveland, Colorado office is also anticipated from time to time. The hybrid role allows the Litigation Attorney to work from home a reasonable portion of the workweek, but the role requires in-office work with clients, witnesses, and opposing parties. Candidates should be based in Northern Colorado.
The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 per year according to experience and credentials of the candidate. Additional benefits apply.
