Description
- Insurance Verification
- Manage multiple interoffice communication channels to facilitate patient insurance verification
- Contact patient’s insurance companies to verify specific benefits, eligibility, and levels of coverage
- Work with patients to inform them of benefit information
- Obtain/maintain up to date referrals for in and out of network insurance plans
- Update patient information upon change of plan/benefits
Requirements

- 1-3 years previous experience in the medical billing field required
- High School graduate or equivalent
