POSITION FUNCTION:
The Certified HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have an EAPA 608 Technician certification and a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Requirements
- Perform routine maintenance to improve system performance on our 30-plus unit HVA systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Installing, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems, including adjusting and replacing belts, compressors, and filters, checking pressures, electrical 208-vac and 480-vac systems, and mechanical components.
- Ensured compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and industry best practices.
- Performing CNC Machine PMs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid EPA 608 certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate information with managers and other employees, both orally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio, interest, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee is occasionally exposed to uncomfortable colds or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
