SUMMARY: The Facilities Team is charged with the caretaking of AOs campus and offsite facilities and participating in various and sundry activities in support of our employees being able to perform at their best with minimal distraction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direction of Facilities leadership and a VP, Technology and following Company policies, procedures and applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations, the Facilities Team Member is responsible for organizing, scheduling, and completing designated tasks efficiently and in a professional manner to assist the Facilities team and AO employees as needed.
In compliance with Company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines as well as applicable federal, state, and local law, codes and regulations, the Facilities Team Member shall perform the following:
- Maintaining sundry and office supply stock levels campus wide.
- To include stocking and ordering of supplies
- Assist with set-up/tear down of workstations and employee moves
- Light building (interior and exterior) and equipment maintenance
- Coordination with third party vendors
- Light interior and exterior cleaning ensuring that in between Custodial Crews visits that the campus is presentable
- Various errands for Firm Leadership and staff which may include:
- Errands to various local government agencies
- Food pick Up
- Preparation of Architectural presentation materials which may include
- Using various cutting, shaping or sanding tools to prepare materials for a presentation board
- Maintaining access control across campus
- Other duties as needed
Work Environment:
There are no unusual work environment characteristics required in terms of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job, including heat or cold, work locations, chemicals, or toxic substances. There is moderate business office noise only. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand or walk 70% and sit 30% of the time
- Lift or carry items which might exceed 20 lbs.
- Talking and hearing are required
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel items up to 2/3 of the time
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms up to 1/3 of the time
Work Schedule:
A 5 x 8 day/hour workweek schedule may include weekends. Overtime may be required.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
General knowledge of the general operations of a business.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to simultaneously handle several tasks, prioritize and plan effectively
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively and positively with leadership, team members and other staff concerning job responsibilities requests from staff
- Exemplary Customer Service
- Ability to accomplish minor assembly or repairs to AO equipment or facilities
