What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Manager Full-Time (JAO) position at AOAO?
AOAO Royal Court seeks a full time Resident Manager (RM) needed for 112 unit complex. All units are individually owned. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The RM reports to the Board of Directors of Royal Court and is supervised by the managing agent.
The candidate for this position should have residential condominium property management experience. The RM will be responsible for oversight of one employee, Grounds/Maintenance person as well as daily office operations. Duties also include oversight of third-party vendors and service providers, coordinating work with employees and enforcing house rules. Organizational skills will be needed to accomplish all aspects of this Association.
Candidates must be self-motivated and a team player. Punctuality, dependability and the ability to work unsupervised is required. Candidates should have great communication skills, the ability to pay attention to details and have great problem solving skills. Interaction with owners, tenants, the Board of Directors and managing agents must be done with professionalism and courtesy. Applicants should possess the following:
General Computer skills (Word/Excel/Adobe)
Ability to maintain files and records
Current Driver’s License
Transportation (own vehicle or access to)
Working knowledge of AOAO settings is a plus
The RM must reside on property. The RM unit is a one-bedroom, 1-bath unit provided by the association. The RM must be available 24/7 for any emergencies that may arise. Compensation will be determined according to the experience of the final candidate.
Final candidates will be subject to drug testing and a background check.
Training and orientation will commence once the RM position is filled.
