Job Summary
- Lead daily functions, services, and activities of Safety and Security based Operations.
- Efficiently and effectively perform functions, services, and activities of Residential Specialist in accordance with regulatory requirements WP policies and procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Possess a thorough understanding of facility layout, emergency procedures and company policies.
- Receive full briefing from the previous shift RS and legibly complete designated reports and logbook daily.
- Patrol buildings and grounds. Check floors, windows, and gate areas. Report all deficiencies according to procedures.
- Carefully observe condition of buildings and equipment. Detect and report unusual and unsafe conditions, situations or including lighting, air conditioning or electrical systems malfunctions.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and inspect property for safety concerns.
- Contact law enforcement/fire department in case of emergency.
- Investigate reports of suspicious activity on the property.
- Escort discharged trespassers, staff, and other unwelcome parties off premises.
- Respond to fire alarm and security monitoring system alarms and take appropriate action.
- Respond to calls for services, complaints, and provide appropriate assistance. Enforcement of water leak policy.
- Monitor restricted parking areas, such as driveways, emergency entrance or reserved parking spaces, etc for unauthorized vehicles and take action according to procedures.
- Greet residents, visitors, and contractors with the warmest aloha.
- Log in and log out visitors, vendors, contractors.
- Enforce House Rules and regulations.
- Proactively alert potential issues to management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Typical Working and Physical Conditions
- Exposure to both inside and outside environmental conditions. Main post is at Control desk.
- Frequently walking on uneven ground, squatting, reaching above and below shoulder level.
- Climbing ladders and stairs, kneeling, and squatting.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Security Guard training certification required, Hawaii Act 208
- Previous experience required
- First Aid, CPR, and AED training a plus, not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, and sitting at a desk monitoring surveillance equipment.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds at a time
Schedule
-Saturday and Sunday
-0700-1500hrs on both days and 1500-2300hrs on both days
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
