Position Overview:
American Outdoor Brands (AOB) was forged in innovation and the desire to build brands and produce high quality products that support the everyday shooter, hunter, defender, and outdoorsman. AOB is known for its creativity through marketing, with disruptive packaging designs, breathtaking content, strategic campaigns and in-store experience. AOB is looking to hire a Creative Traffic Coordinator to help be the liaison between internal marketing stakeholders (sales, marketing managers, product development) and the creative department (visual design, content development and merchandising). The purpose of the role is to manage project details in order to keep creative efforts on schedule and consistent with standards through project management tools. Position reports directly to the Senior Director of Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage creative project details
- Field creative project requests from internal stakeholders and ensure all assets and specs are collected for team to produce visuals, content or graphics.
- Work with Marketing Managers to ensure creative assets produced are in line with brand strategies and campaigns.
- Work with Creative Director to help assign and schedule projects for the internal and external creative teams being mindful of due dates and team workload capacity.
- Serve as point of contact for all communication to-and-from creative to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure proper approvals have been completed before moving to the next stage of the project workflow.
- Support creative team in communicating and sending files to third-party vendors.
Support team through creative, data asset and product information management tools
- Utilize creative project management software (HIVE) to communicate and drive creative projects.
- Assist in the organization and management of the “DAM” (digital asset management) software by archiving, meta-tagging, uploading, and distributing creative assets in the system.
- Manage and maintain the “PIM” (product information management) system from the marketing and creative department perspective, helping input and distribute product information.
Help identify, build, refine and communicate process improvements

Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 3 years in project or creative traffic management
- Microsoft Office (Excel, word, PowerPoint etc)
- Experience working with creative team or comparable categories
- Experience working with project management or creative management software

- Excellent project management and time management skills – excels at organization, communication flexibility and very strong attention to details.
- Ability to anticipate and effectively communicate and solve problems or challenges
- Positive and professional demeanor; ability to work well across departments as a representative of the marketing and creative teams
Physical Demands:
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Some work is required in "off-hours" for business meetings/company events.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
- Ability to move about facility on regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
- Visual and hearing acuity.

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
General office environment, with some exposure to plant environment, with forklift and other general hazards.
