St. Augustine School, a Blue Ribbon, and Top Workplace 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 recipient, located in Elkridge, Maryland has an opening for a full-time Instructional Aide for the PreK4 classroom for the 2025-2026 school year. She/he will provide support to teachers in a classroom setting. This support can include grading assignments, preparing materials for class, and providing one-on-one assistance to students who may need additional help.
Essential Functions
- Cultivate a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Prepare age-appropriate materials
- Help organize and prepare resources for students
- Help in integrating technology to effectively create a 21st-century learning environment within the classroom (ISTE Standards)
- Collaborating with other teachers, staff, students, and parents to support student progress
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management
- Participate in all faculty meetings, retreats, school committees and in-service learning opportunities
- Communicate professionally and promptly with parents
Position Qualifications
- Degree in Elementary Education and/or 90 hours certification preferred
- Experience in a Catholic School setting is preferred
- Must commit to Catholic School education.
Pay Rate: $18 - $20, Hourly
