What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse, Middle School (EX) (Current Opportunity) - St. Margaret School, Bel Air MD position at AOB?
The Registered Nurse will work closely with the school community to maintain a healthy environment. This position can be full-time or part-time.
Essential Functions
- Provide first aid, medical care, and emergency care services to students, faculty, and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments to students as ordered by students’ physicians.
- Assist in the collection and management of health forms.
- Create and maintain documentation of all encounters, assessments, and interventions.
- Serve as liaison between students, teachers and families in regards to health concerns.
Position Qualifications
- Current Maryland RN license - BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Nursing experience in a high school setting.
- Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to quickly and competently assess medical situations and escalate as needed.
Range: $33.00 - 40.00, Hourly
