The Elementary Teacher teacher plans, organizes, and implements the instructional program in a Catholic environment where every child is recognized as a unique child of God.
Essential Functions
- Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
- Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
- Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning
- Maintains accurate and complete records of student’s progress and development, in a timely manner.
- Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required
- Classroom teaching experience, preferred
- Proficient in using a variety of technology.
Range: $50,000 - 86,000, Annualized
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
