What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher, Math, Middle School (EX) (2025-2026) - Monsignor Slade Catholic School, Glen Burnie MD position at AOB?
The Middle School Math Teacher will be responsible for the direct supervision and instruction of students. He/she will provide a Catholic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership, achievement, and service within the church and community. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible, 10-month teaching position.
Essential Functions
- Develop and deliver engaging Math lessons that align with curriculum standards set by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- Assess student understanding through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Maintain an accurate and updated gradebook, ensuring both students and parents have an understanding of academic progress.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Math Education, or a related field
- Valid MSDE teaching certification or eligibility for certification in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- Strong content knowledge in middle school Math disciplines.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly at the middle school level, is preferred.
Range: $50,000 - 86,000, Annualized
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
