The Physical Education & Computers Teacher will provide grade school students a comprehensive academic and physical experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Physical Education curriculum. She/he is responsible for creating a learning environment that fosters, promotes, and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function exercise, and athletics. This is a full-time, benefits eligible, 10-month teaching position.
Essential Functions
- Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
- Plans and implements an engaging, developmentally appropriate Physical Education curriculum for students in PreK through 8th grade.
- Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning
- Supervise students in a safe and structured learning environment.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- MSDE Certification, or the willingness to obtain certification, required
- Classroom teaching experience, preferred
Pay Range:$35,000 , Annualized
