AOC is currently seeking a Formulator for its Valparaiso, Indiana facility.
Summary:
The Formulator will be responsible for operating equipment to produce thinned and blended resin products. This role involves manufacturing products in accordance with the Quality System requirements while strictly adhering to established formulations.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Conduct chemical, physical, and visual tests on resins, making necessary adjustments to product batches based on the results.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications prior to product shipment and communicate with relevant parties to meet quality system standards.
- Prepare tankers and drums for loading finished products.
- Deliver samples to the Quality Assurance Laboratory and input data into the plant's quality system.
- Analyze test data to identify necessary ingredient adjustments, trends, and potential issues related to product and process quality assurance.
