AOC Outreach Licensed Clinical Director - LCSW, LPC, LMFT
The Clinical Director at AOC Outreach Services reports to and works closely with the Director of Operations to enhance overall quality of clinical treatment rendered within the agency. This person must be a fully licensed mental health professional (PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LPA, LMFT or similar). The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and developing AOC’s clinical services through training and development of employees within the client services division. This medical professional is directly in charge of the planning and delegation of clinical related tasks, appraising performance, rewarding and correcting employees, addressing internal and external complaints as well as deescalating and resolving clinical treatment concerns.
The Clinical Director develops and plans strategies to manage program growth and ensure program sustainability, while cultivating partnerships in the community to establish a holistic collaborative care model. Other job duties include clinical oversight, tracking, analyzing, and reporting data, the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, consulting on all clinical and ethical issues, keeping the Director of Operation and Executive staff informed of all operational and programmatic issues.
The Clinical Director oversee various AOC therapy programs, assists in individual therapy services, leads weekly meetings, provides support and guidance to staff, and oversees all clinical and supportive services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Oversight of Clinical & Supportive Services
- Provide clinical oversight of all client care; Ensure the delivery of evidence-based, culturally competent mental/behavioral health services
- Lead initiatives to improve clinical service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Address and resolve clinical and operational issues promptly and effectively
- Responsible for internship program alongside Lead Clinician; bi-weekly individual supervision
- Maintain an active license (Psy.D., LPC, LCSW, LPA, or similar)
- Maintain 8-10 QMHP; periodically facilitate one group session
- Addresses referrals from providers including referrals via warm hand-offs
- Participates and daily huddles to assess needs and coordinate services
- Maintains weekly scheduled appointments
- Provide therapeutic services to patients and their families as needed
- Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partners
- Completes required documentation and paperwork including psychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
- Demonstrates cultural competency and commitment to patients
- Demonstrates commitment to the philosophy of the agency
- One-on-One Therapy Sessions
- handled QA/QI calls and peer reviews conducted by insurance provider.
- Conduct/Oversee Clinical Calls
- Other duties as required
Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor clinical staff to maintain a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and excellence among team members.
- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and professional development opportunities for staff members continued development
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
Program Development
- Track, analyze, and report program data to evaluate agency programs, areas of improvement, and prospective growth
- Provide leadership to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Monitor and evaluate clinical services to ensure compliance with legal requirements, accreditation standards, internal standards, and best practices.
- Regularly review and recommend changes in program services to meet client needs with particular emphasis on services for underserved populations.
- Collaborate with Executive to implement internal company wide audits
EDUCATION:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field from accredited university. LCSW or LMFT in good standing in State of Texas with minimum one years post-licensure
