Leasing Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Leasing Associate with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills to join our team. This role is responsible for marketing, leasing, and maintaining positive resident relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting and qualifying prospects, touring properties and amenities.
- Ensure the property and show units meet our standards for the marketing/leasing tour.
- Record all telephone and in-person traffic according to company policy.
- Complete applications, leases, and move-in processes according to company policy.
- Use on-site property software to track apartment availability.
- Stay knowledgeable of market trends and competitor conditions that may impact occupancy.
- Design and implement marketing plans to drive traffic to the property.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year experience in apartment leasing and/or sales.
- Apartment leasing experience or customer service-related industry experience.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrate ability to apply sales skills.
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification.
- Fair Housing training.
