Aon is seeking to add a Consultant to our team.Responsibilities include : Work with Defined Contribution (“DC”) Solutions leadership team within Aon’s investment consulting practiceAssist Solutions, Sales and Client Service Teams in responding to technical client / prospect inquiries, Request For Proposals (RFPs) as well as other fulfillment and Compliance-related requestsWrite new case studies and answers to client / client prospect inquiriesAssist with the profiling and qualification of opportunities for the business development teamAssist with creating and maintaining marketing and sales collateralAssessing New Sales Opportunities : Pre-screens RFPs for solutions leadership reviewCreate deal assessment chartsPull appropriate background dataIdentify key factors necessary to price new dealsIdentify key / strategic questions that are assigned to others to answer and customizeReview each written RFP response that was drafted by RFP writerHelp Solutions Leader to set scope and strategy for new business opportunitiesDevelop New Processes : Ability to develop new internal processes to make sales, solutions, compliance and client service teams work together as efficiently as possibleCreate a road-map that can be used as a resource tool for the practice to educate consultants on what support is provided by which teamHelp to train colleagues on Defined Contribution and investment related topicsWriting : Leverage excellent written expression skills to strengthen written client and sales deliverablesWork with Solutions team on articulating key differentiators and innovative solutionsDraft case studiesReview all standard exhibits to determine need for updatingDevelop new business materials such as PowerPoint slides for finals presentationsDevelop internal training materials and / or client ready slides on defined contribution related topicsDuties and Functions include but are not limited to : The Institutional Investment Consultant position requires a dynamic professional who can : Collaborate with internal business partners to create and maintain content across complex topicsManage multiple, competing tasks and deliver high-quality, accurate outputUnderstand the nature of an engagement and contribute relevant content to a proposalHelp develop and maintain a variety of materials to support new business development, existing business and other initiatives and responsibilitiesUtilize the firm's internal resources to answer product specific requests for information, requests for proposals, and other inquiries in a timely mannerWork with sales representatives, solutions and client services teams to complete RFPs, proposals, and ad hoc requests with accurate and compelling content in a deadline-oriented environmentAdhere to established procedures and look to make recommendations for process improvements while managing multiple project timelines simultaneouslyQualified candidates will have the following skills and experience : Education : A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or relevant experienceExcellent writing and project management experienceExperience : 5 years of Institutional Investment Management experience ideally with DC plansOutstanding written and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, attentive to detail and conscientious with regards to output is requiredDirect experience in a sales support function in a wholesaling environment, performance analyst supporting the distribution of institutional investment products, or some other relevant investment management experience is preferredFamiliarity with institutional investors or experience with defined contribution would be idealWorking knowledge of the terms used by the investment management industry related to benchmarks, returns, investment strategies, and expensesHow we support our colleagues : In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
