Creative Manager

Aon Consumer Benefit Solutions is hiring a Creative Manager in a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Hammonton, NJ office. Candidates will also be considered for fully virtual if not located in New Jersey.

What the day will look like

The Creative Manager will have two primary job functions: 1) day-to-day management of the Graphic Designers and 2) designing benefits communication campaigns for clients.

Other responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate strong layout and design skills, acute attention to detail, accuracy, creativity and self-motivation
• Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Acts independently and with other creative team members to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
• Develop flexible processes and tools to support different levels of creative needs in a fast-paced, budget-conscious environment
• Understand the client's business, creating and justifying creative vision based on upon strategy
• Work closely with Creative Director to track needs, concerns, and liaison for the design team in order to serve as an advocate and 'sounding board'
• Manage and assign/distribute creative projects to team, ensure deadlines are met, quality is consistent and adhere to brand guidelines
• Inspire and manage design team to deliver innovative visually stunning results across the spectrum of media (print, digital, etc)
• Provide performance management feedback to design team (goal setting and review)

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• 10 years of experience preferred, or the ability to demonstrate the equivalent capabilities is required; experience in the insurance or employee benefits industry preferred

• Strong creative portfolio that shows a variety of media and techniques

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft office applications focused on new, innovative offerings; UX/UI, Figma and developing multi-media experience a plus

• Experience creating templated, scalable communications and self-service options; experience delivering interactive solutions a plus

• Ability to prioritize heavy workloads based on deliverables and deadlines

• Communicate clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner with internal clients to determine project parameters and present ideas

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., graphic design, advertising design) strongly preferred

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
