Marketing Professional - Content Writer

What the day will look like

In this role, you will report to the Creative Director and Creative Execution team. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the creative team, designers, marketing, and production teams in support of Aon Affinity Business Unit Marketing Initiatives. The Content Writer is responsible for developing compelling content, creative concepts, and copy designed for interactive and multimedia advertising and marketing materials.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• 5-7 years of proven experience in writing. Insurance background or experience with highly regulated industries required
• Communicates effectively, persuasively, and with impact, both verbally and in writing.
• Well-versed in operating within a networked Windows environment and using advanced features of Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work on a team, as well as independently. Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality, and results.
• Multi-tasks well; manages time effectively through strong organization, time management, and project management skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in writing, journalism, or international communication

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $64,000 to $72,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
