The Systems Specialist role is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Norwalk, CT office. What the day will look like As a Systems Specialist, you will provide defined benefit administrative calculation and consulting services directly to clients. You will make an impact in others' lives by working with our client's employees to help them understand their pension plans and to meet their retirement goals. Daily Responsibilities : Analyze / manipulate data using Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel.Take on problems that arise, and identify ways to improve process efficiency and the system.Develop Excel-based calculation system according to client requirements.Develop and maintain data manipulation processes using Microsoft Access queries, tables, reports and macros.Provide technical resource support to internal and external clients.Broaden personal knowledge of defined benefit administration rules. Skills and experience that will lead to success : Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. information systems, math, finance, economics, accounting, computer science or other quantitative areas)0-3 Years Relevant work experienceIntermediate Microsoft Excel and Access skills.Proven command of internal systems.Undergraduate math, finance, or IT related degree or equivalent experience. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
