Role: Senior Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks for various testing processes.
- Create and execute automated test cases to ensure the quality and performance of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, and operations) to identify automation opportunities.
- Work with software developers to identify and resolve issues with applications.
- Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing using automation tools.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Monitor and report on the performance of automation systems, including debugging and troubleshooting any issues.
- Maintain thorough documentation of automated test cases, scripts, and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in automation technologies and implement improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Travis CI.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of API testing and related tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
