Role: Power BI Developer with Snowflake & Python
Location: Westlake TX- Onsite
Job Spec:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with hands-on experience in integrating data from Snowflake, building intuitive dashboards, and delivering actionable insights. This role requires expertise in Power BI report development, as well as a strong understanding of Snowflake as a cloud-based data warehouse. The Power BI Developer will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful visualizations and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
o Experience & Skills:
o Expertise in handling large datasets and optimizing Power BI reports and SQL queries for high
performance.
o Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query for dynamic
reporting and analysis.
o Hands-on experience with Snowflake integration, data modeling, and query performance
tuning.
o Strong knowledge of scalable data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
o Proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and optimization.
o Experience in developing and managing efficient ETL pipelines for clean, accurate data.
o Proven ability to manage large data volumes while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience with Snowflake-specific features, such as Snowflake data sharing, Snowpipe, or Snowflake Streams along with familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform in relation to Snowflake.
o Report migration experience from other formats such as Oracle OBIEE to PowerBI is a huge plus.
o Hands on python skills and familiarity with other BI tools or data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) are nice to have.

- Data Integration and Modeling:
