Aos Staffing is looking for dependable Teacher Assistants. Our goal is to hire individuals who are having a hard time getting their foot into the door of a desired long term position.
Essential Functions:
- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce skills introduced
- Guide independent study, enrichment and/or remedial work for students assigned by the
- Correct assignments completed by students as assigned by the classroom teacher
- Assist with whole group activities within the classroom and throughout the school
- Assist teacher with the administration, and scoring of student assessments as assigned by
- Perform duties related to the preparation of materials and supplies needed for classroom
- Assist with supervision of students during recess, lunch periods, field experiences and
- Participate in professional development activities as appropriate
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the principal or teacher
- Some experience working with young children (ages 3-12 years)
- Computer Skills
- Preferred: Experience working with teachers and students in an educational setting
- Some experience tutoring young children
- A high school diploma or GED
- A minimum of 60 hours of college credit (Must provide proof)
- Fingerprint background check
- Tb Test
- Proof of college Credits
- 1 year experience in a classroom setting
