About Us:
We are a small, well-established civil engineering consulting firm providing expert services for municipal infrastructure projects. We are seeking qualified Construction Inspectors to perform inspection services for municipal water projects in the Boston MetroWest area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract documents and project specifications.
- Maintain clear communication with the contractor and client throughout the project.
- Keep accurate and complete records of daily quantities, measurements, and construction activities.
- Assist with resolving field issues and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Perform other related tasks as required to support successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- Education: Civil Engineering degree, OR
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in utility construction projects as an engineer and/or resident field inspector.
- Retired Water or Sewer Superintendents, Public Works Directors, and Town Engineers
