Professional Parts Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers with their parts needs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries regarding parts and accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory control by tracking stock levels, ordering new parts, and organizing the parts department.
• Process sales transactions using a cash register and ensure accurate record-keeping of all sales.
• Collaborate with automotive technicians to ensure timely availability of necessary parts for repairs.
• Utilize organizational skills to keep the parts area clean and well-organized for efficient workflow.
• Assist in training new staff members on inventory management and customer service protocols.
• Stay updated on new products and industry trends to better assist customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in an automotive environment.
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory management.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
• Familiarity with dealership operations and cash register systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
