Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries regarding parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate inventory control by tracking stock levels, ordering new parts, and organizing the parts department.
- Process sales transactions using a cash register and ensure accurate record-keeping of all sales.
- Collaborate with automotive technicians to ensure timely availability of necessary parts for repairs.
- Utilize organizational skills to keep the parts area clean and well-organized for efficient workflow.
- Assist in training new staff members on inventory management and customer service protocols.
- Stay updated on new products and industry trends to better assist customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in an automotive environment.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory management.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
