What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Apprentice position at AP Electric LLC?
Electrical experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Learn how to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Assist in the installation and troubleshooting of low voltage systems
- Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Learn how to safely use power tools and hand tools for electrical work
- Assist in the testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC standards
- Assist in the diagnosis and repair of electrical malfunctions
Experience:
- Some experience or knowledge in frame carpentry is preferred
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles
- Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems is a plus
- Experience working as an apprentice or helper to an industrial or commercial electrician is a plus
