Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical designs (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, automation, NEC compliance).
- Act as project manager: define requirements, oversee deliverables, coordinate teams, and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, and clients to integrate designs and solve unique technical challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
- Prepare proposals, estimates, schedules, and design documentation to industry and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7 years of experience (consulting industry experience preferred but not required).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MathCAD, Trace, and/or SolidWorks Simulation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with the desire to work in the Engineering Consulting field.
- Valid driver’s license; able to travel locally and occasionally out-of-state.
