What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Database Administrator position at AP Professionals?
Tyler Munis ERP experience preferable, but not required Enterprise Application Administrator with strong experience in managing, maintaining, and securing SQL databases and cloud infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administer, configure, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases to support applications.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and indexes for data integrity and performance
- Ensure data security, backup, and recovery strategies
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and efficiency
- Manage data migrations, integrations, an ETL processes
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and data encryption to protect sensitive information
- Manage cloud-based SQL databases
- Collaborate with IT teams to modernize legacy systems and migrate on-premise databases to the cloud
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Strong expertise in SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL
- Experience with Power BI and SSRS
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices
