Position Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong React frontend development expertise to join an innovative data transparency team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects while collaborating with leading tech professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually appealing web solutions with 508 compliance standards
  • Collaborate with UX/graphic designers and product owners
  • Implement technical solutions based on business requirements
  • Create and maintain reusable components for design system library
  • Conduct peer code reviews and unit testing
  • Provide on-call support and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML
  • Extensive React experience
  • AWS knowledge and security best practices
  • Strong debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with lit programming
  • Design system expertise
  • Multiple programming language proficiency
  • Advanced cloud platform knowledge

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work model (50% onsite monthly)
  • Kansas City, MO location

Up to $96/hr (DOE)
