Position Overview :
We are seeking a NERC Certified System Operator to join our clients Network Operations Center (NOC) in Palm Beach Gardens FL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage Balancing Authority (BA) Generator Owner (GO) and Generator Operator (GOP) operations while ensuring grid reliability and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and execute hourly resource strategy for optimal balance of resources
- Monitor and control generation assets in realtime
- Ensure compliance with NERC WECC and FERC standards
- Coordinate with reliability entities and commercial partners
- Respond to system disturbances and emergency situations
- Provide training and support to Associate System Operators
- Maintain NERC certification through continuing education
