Responsibilities
- Process and manage weekly payroll for a high volume of employees across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage laws.
- Handle payroll deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments, wage adjustments, bonuses, and terminations efficiently.
- Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations to prevent discrepancies and maintain compliance.
- Serve as the HRIS (ADP) expert, optimizing system workflows and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Generate payroll and benefits reports, analyzing trends to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, terminations, and changes, while coordinating open enrollment and education initiatives.
- Collaborate with benefits brokers on renewals, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Track and manage FMLA, disability, PTO, and other leave programs in compliance with regulations.
- Oversee payroll setup and compliance for seasonal and H-2B visa employees.
- Ensure adherence to wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and benefits policies.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, benefits audits, and regulatory reports.
- Stay updated on legislative changes impacting payroll and benefits administration.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Proficiency in ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance regulations.
- Experience with seasonal workforce management and H-2B visa regulations is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and multitasking skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across HR, Finance, and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and payroll reporting tools.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
