The CNC Woodshop Laborer will be responsible for cutting programmed mold pieces and labelling them for the construction of AP tooling forms.

Job Duties
· Program machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, setting offsets and calculating requirements
· Set-up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, and collets
· Load machine by lifting/placing stock material into position
· Plan work inventory by checking stock to determine amount available, anticipate needed stock and notify Woodshop Lead of impending deficiencies for timely replenishment
· Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers’ instructions and AP procedures, troubleshooting malfunctions, notifying Woodshop Lead of needed repairs
· Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
· Maintain all work areas in clean and safe condition, especially at end of shift
· Immediately advise the Woodshop Lead of any hazardous condition
· Follow all schedules provided by AP Production Supervisor, AP Production Manager & Scheduler
· Work on other job functions of AP, as required, if CNC work is not available
· Perform all work in a safe manner; use required safety equipment including, but not limited to, guards, shields, eye protection, steel toes, etc.
· Continuously strive to improve efficiency in the work area and the facility at large and be willing to participate in shop meetings (OSHA, safety, production and benefits) and training programs sponsored by the company
· Maintain a positive work attitude and cooperate with fellow employees
Physical Demands
· Heavy (exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects)
· Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination
· The ability to safely use industrial machinery and power tools
· Heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, is required
Qualifications & Skills
· High school diploma or equivalent apprenticeship
· 3-5 years CNC Router operations experience preferred
· Proven success in the operation of CNC equipment
· Attention to detail
· Ability to communicate effectively with others
· Valid and insurable PA driver’s license
· Proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
