We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to ensuring the comfort and safety of all passengers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including shuttle buses, school buses, limousines, paratransit vehicles, and delivery vans.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers at designated locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in plans.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Manage passenger behavior to ensure a safe and pleasant travel experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in shuttle driving, school bus driving, limousine services, paratransit, bus driving, delivery driving, commercial driving, or van driving is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
- A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction is essential for success in this role.
Requirements:
1 Current and valid Louisiana's driver's license - Class D or above.
2) Must pass a criminal background check & mandatory drug screening.
3) Must have a clean driving record.
4) Must have at least 1 year of passenger-driving experience.
5) Experience working for non-emergency medical transportation (preferred)
6) Professional, Responsible and Trust worthy. Organized, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills
Driver will be required to complete First Aid/CPR course, defensive driving course and PASS Basic Training course. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!!!
