Job Overview: As a Tree Climber & Pruner, you'll play a key role in maintaining the health, safety, and aesthetics of trees in our community. You'll be responsible for climbing trees, pruning branches, and ensuring that every job is done safely and efficiently. We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, and ready to work hard while enjoying the outdoors.
Responsibilities:
Safely climb and prune trees according to industry standards
Perform tree trimming, thinning, and removal as needed
Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, ropes, and rigging gear
Assess tree health and recommend necessary care or treatment
Work closely with the team to ensure efficient job completion
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a tree climber and pruner (minimum 2 years preferred)
Proficient in the use of climbing and rigging equipment
Strong knowledge of tree biology and pruning techniques
Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions
Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
ISA Certified Arborist or similar certification is a plus but not required
Good physical condition and stamina
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
